Amanda Earl, L.Ac. attended Georgia State University for her undergraduate degree and went to graduate school in Southern California for a four year program at Yo San University for Traditional Chinese Medicine.
After living in China for several months at a Taoist Kung Fu school, she decided to get her degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine upon her return to the states. She worked three jobs through medical school and gave up the latter part of her twenties to become a physician in order to heal people. After practicing for a few years, she observed that what she learned in school was only partially effective due to the modern day obstacles that most people face that they have not had to deal with in the past.
Over time, she kept hearing the same stories over and over again in her treatment room. Patients could not get a diagnosis for their unknown illness, or patients got ten different diagnosis from ten different doctors. Some patients were told that all of their tests said that they were fine, but they still felt “off”. Different female patients that had small children could not function and were exhausted and foggy headed all the time, and their husbands thought they were completely crazy, which was adversely affecting their marriages. However, all of the tests said that they should feel “normal”.
Some women that walked into the treatment room were diagnosed with three or more “autoimmune” diseases. A common favorite amongst western physicians to diagnose an unidentified illness that they can’t find an answer for is Lyme disease. People that have never so much as seen a tick in their whole lives suddenly have a Lyme disease diagnosis because there are no other answers.
So what gives? What was causing all of these unidentified illnesses?
Amanda Earl, L.Ac. came to understand that we are living in the age of toxins and unidentified pathogenic factors. Most of the so called “tests” being run are completely archaic and out of date and could not possibly identify pathogens because they are not looking for them and would be completely unable to recognize them even if they had been looking. The tests and the pharmaceutical companies want to blame bad genes or to tell people that its their fault for feeling so sick.
As a result, Amanda Earl, L.Ac. offers protocols that are anti pathogenic along with detoxifying. She teaches patients how to knock down their illnesses, while strengthening their immune systems. She does not buy into the theory of “autoimmune” as it has been a long standing attempt to explain the inexplicable given the confines of the knowledge physicians have currently been working with.
Physicians in the US are mostly all learning from the exact same pools of knowledge, which is why they all pretty much have the same answers. In order to get real answers and solutions, Amanda Earl, L.Ac. went outside this pool and started learning from physicians and scientists in China, Japan, Nepal, and Europe. Her wellness protocols are a result of years of study and putting different information together. She can provide answers and offer patients solutions that work and greatly improve their existing conditions.
